SHIPPING RATES AND CALCULATION
Shipping charges for all orders are calculated based on shipping costs from Mexico City directly to your address and include trucking, brokerage and insurance. We utilize a variety of shipping and freight companies including UPS, Federal Express, Mexpost and various freight lines to give you the best cost and quality.
Once your order is placed, we will contact you via e-mail to advise you of the total cost including shipping.
All prices on this web site are in US dollars.
Merchandise cannot be returned to Mexico. Unless items are incorrect or received damaged, all sales are final.
Our warehouse and administrative offices are located in Mexico City, Mexico. All shipments originate from this location. All transit costs from Mexico City including trucking, brokerage, and custom costs (not Duty) are paid by laclandestinadf.com.
UNPACKING INSTRUCTIONS AND PROCEDURES
In our many years of experience, we have witnessed that damage of items most-likely occurs during the unpacking of items. Please thoroughly read the following important instructions.
IF THERE IS OBVIOUS DAMAGE TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE BOX, DO NOT ACCEPT DELIVERY AND IMMEDIATELY CONTACT US AT firstname.lastname@example.org.
- ALWAYS work on a carpeted or soft surface.
- For all boxes, slice tape with a box cutter to deconstruct the box. Do not open one end and try to lift the objects out.
- Once the box sides fall away, gently remove loose packing materials.
- It is best to lay the items on a carpeted surface.
- Do not pull on tape or bubble wrap…carefully cut all taped spots letting the bubble wrap fall away.
- Do not pull on any paper. Use scissors to snip all paper and tape so that it FALLS AWAY.
- Protective paper will be wrapped around the most delicate areas. This paper must be patiently snipped away, never pulled away. Do not assume you know which is the top or base of any piece while it is fully wrapped.
With patience, good scissors, and no pulling of tape or paper, the results will be perfect.
DAMAGES/RETURNS/OVERAGES/SHORTAGES—THIS POLICY APPLIES TO ALL ORDERS
All claims must be made within seven days of receiving your shipment or we will not honor your claim. We quality control every product when it is received in our warehouse and again before it is packed. We double-count each item to assure that you receive exactly what you ordered in the quantities that you ordered. We make every effort to pack in a manner that will avoid in-transit damages, even with the most brutal mishandling.
IF YOU RECEIVE DAMAGED MERCHANDISE
Notify us immediately by e-mail at email@example.com. You must refer to your Order Number in the email message. Save the boxes and the packing materials so that you can show this to the Claims Representative. Please send digital photo of the damaged items and/or the damaged outer box to firstname.lastname@example.org, which will greatly expedite resolution. We will immediately file a claim with the shipping company and arrange for the inspection as quickly as possible. Generally, the shipping company will either take the goods with them or give you permission to destroy them after inspection.
Please remember that the claim must be registered within seven days of receiving the merchandise (in writing via e-mail). Sorry, but we will make no exceptions to this policy.
If you are missing something (even after our double-counting)—
If we have charged you and we have not sent the correct quantity, we will review and correct the error by the most appropriate method as quickly as possible.
If you received extra merchandise or something that you did not order, please notify us immediately.
TIMING AND DELIVERY OF SHIPMENTS
Every effort is made to maintain all items in stock for shipment within 7-10 days from Mexico City, Mexico.
Sometimes, items may not arrive together in one delivery or on the same day.
All orders will be received within approximately 14-30 days of the order being placed, although items may arrive sooner.
NO ITEMS WILL BE BACK ORDERED
If an item is not in stock, we will contact you via e-mail and advise on when the missing items will again be available for shipment.
TIMING OF PAYMENT
YOUR CREDIT CARD WILL NOT BE CHARGED UNTIL ITEMS ARE READY TO SHIP.
ONCE YOUR ODER IS PLACED
A message will be received confirming that your order has been received by laclandestinadf.com.
You will also receive an e-mail message summation of the amounts to be charged (when ready to ship) from laclandestinadf.com.
TRACKING NUMBERS WILL BE PROVIDED VIA E-MAIL
Once the order is shipped, you will receive an e-mail from laclandestinadf.com providing the appropriate carrier´s numbers, and you may track your shipment via the appropriate website provided.
